The first month of internship would consist of Being a machine operator with some basic training. You will be responsible for running a Semi-Automatic Assembly machine that will assemble Plastic parts with metal parts.
After the first few weeks’ pass, you will be asked to assist/Participate in the Building of the Semi-Automatic assembly machines. (This can consist of Stripping wires, routing wires, labeling wires, creating wire diagrams, routing pneumatic hose, mounting mechanical items, planning valve configurations, Programming, and Debugging a new machine.).
After spending time in the Build department, you will be able to Use NX/Unigraphics to help design “end of arm tooling” (EOAT). Making CAD models and 2D prints to be used in the machine shop; as well as creating a Bill of Materials (BOM) for the tooling designed. The EOAT, depending on its complexity, will be a 2-month Project. It can also consist of 3D printing of specialty components from the design.
